Friday, October 22, 2021 (Anchorage - Paducah, KY)

The sleepless night was all that we thought it would be. LOL!!!  But on we go by getting up with the sun.

We have our routine before moving on which starts with Jim taking a shower and I am securing the boat for travel.  Then as we travel later in the morning I go downstairs to clean and take a hot shower myself.  I did start my “Looper Afghan”.

The day was another beautiful sunny day passing barges and dredging equipment.

Approaching the Olmsted Lock and Dam.

Our little buddy (still not named) is up front and center enjoying the sights.  His girlfriend is below in the salon.  We will take suggestions for their names….

No, I did not fall but crawled up and under the bridge console to check some wires for the Garmin.  LOL!!!  A lot of wires but have no idea what else I was to do……

We reached our destination in Paducah, KY which is a long dock with fuel, electricity and water for transient boats only.  It really is nice but right on the river so a little choppy at times.

The city of Paducah is small but within walking distance.  We found a great restaurant and consumed  some excellent beverages and had a yummy steak dinner.  The walk back did not disappoint and was a great photo opportunity.

Another great day!!!
