Well, once again the heavens have opened up with the wet stuff. At least our new rain jackets are being used and they keep us dry so far. Another night here. (Joanie Lewis) Jim has been trying a pork tenderloin in pretty much every stop we have made. He is creating a list of places that serve tenderloins along the Mississippi ranking the best along the way. So far his home town of St. Ansgar is at the top of the list. A little bias I would say. LOL!!! Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow but come hell or high water we are moving on to Alton, IL which is across the river from St. Louis, MO.
Keep in touch!!
Jim, I am curious to know who wins the “Best Tenderloin Sandwich Award!”
ReplyDeleteMight have to take a trip to St Ansgar!!
What an adventure you are on!! Thank you for sharing!
Joanie
It is close. I had a tenderloin at Rock Port I'll. It was the largest so far. However St.Ansgar is #1 but it is close. I will bring you back some the next time I go back to St.Ansgar. I usually bring back 20-30 then freeze them. They are a break from burritos.
