It was a bit chilly without the heater but not at all unbearable. We planned to stay here one more night and the electrician was to check out the electrical pedestal on the dock. As we are waiting for some action, the marina suggested we move to yet another slip that was just vacated where the electrical worked the day before. So, yes this is the third time we moved the boat at this marina. Jim and I both are on pens and needles until we plug the electrical cord in and hopefully find that there isn’t an electrical issue within the boat. Well, we are all plugged in and I switch the toggle and NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NO ELECTRICITY!!! I wanted to cry. However the maintenance man was going to go below and check if a breaker tripped. The only thing he found out was that we were getting no power at all into the boat. Out of desperation he checked the area where the electric cord comes out and found another toggle switch. BINGO!!!! The switch was off and once he turned it on, we have full power. Now you may be thinking that was such a simple solution and yes we should have known about that switch, but do you know how many switches are on this boat….. LOL!!! We were so happy we wanted to dance around the boat. All is good.
To kill some time we got the courtesy truck to drive into town to make two stops. (I bet you can guess what those two stops were). The keys were in the truck and a lot of other things. I couldn’t resist taking a picture of the front dashboard.
It would be my guess that the brake fluid hasn’t been filled for years. It felt like we were driving sideways down the road. But it got us where we needed to go and back. LOL!!! It will be an early night as we are leaving at 7:00 a.m. sharp for a long day ahead.
Oh my goddess, you guys have had an adventurous couple of days and scary! It’s not like you have done this before….. I think you are doing amazing!!! 🤗
