Monday, November 29, 2021 (Steinhatchee, FL (Sea Hag Marina)

Good morning from Steinhatchee, Florida population 782.  We have been so lucky with the weather as it is another beautiful sunny day.

We are on a mission to explore this little town so we have the rights to the courtesy car. As soon as Jim started the car, immediately the “check engine”, “tire pressure” and “brake lights” all were well lite and some flashing….. We looked at each other and fully expected the car to be out of gas.  LOL!!!!  But we drove it anyway.  As we started our excursion around town (it didn’t take long) we found this most beautiful little church decorated for the holiday.  I always thought that the little church in Jim’s home town was the best but this one was by far better.  Next to it was a lovely B&B.

Check out this little gem of a golf cart…..

No Hobby Lobby, Walmart or Target here but we did find a Dollar Store because I needed Christmas decorations of some sort.  So here they are.  I was happy but really wanted a little tree.  Maybe somewhere else will have one that needs to be on the boat. So I need to concentrate on taking down the fall decorations and finding a place to store them.

As you know there are docktails somewhere at 5:00 every evening but Jim and I thought it was appropriate to have a celebration to remember all of us crossing the Gulf.  So it was a toast with champagne.  How appropriate as we all were so thankful and excited…

This became our backdrop right after pictures.

We will never forget the beauty in the sunrises and sunsets that we have enjoyed!!!!

There is something to say about the peacefulness of the quiet water and silence.

On to Crystal River, FL in the morning.
