Thursday - Monday, March 17-21, 2022 ( Legacy Harbour Marina, Ft. Myers - South Seas Resort and Marina, Captiva Island)

We were so excited as we waited for Brandie, Paul and James to arrive from New York and create more adventures.  After their flight delay, they arrived in Ft. Myers at midnight.  I captured this picture as we were almost back at the boat after meeting them.  The water was so peaceful without a ripple!!!

Even though it was very late, James found some last minute energy.  LOL!!!

Good morning everyone!!!

(Friday, March 18, 2022). On our way to South Seas Resort and Marina on Captiva Island.  The sky was a beautiful blue and the water was very calm.  What a gorgeous day to travel on the water.

James loves driving the boat with Grandpa.

It was a busy day on the river.  Everyone wanted to be on the water.

The best time to take a little nap while rocking on the water!!!

It was a fabulous float to Captiva Island.  We are settled in at South Seas Resort and Marina and ready to explore the area.

The pool invited us in right away!!!

I couldn’t resist teasing Brandie that she really needs to work on her tan.  LOL!!

We had a tasty dinner at Harbourside Grill at the resort and planned our next day.  BEACH, BEACH, BEACH!!!

(Saturday, March 19, 2022)

James is all dressed up and ready to ride the trolley for dinner.  Doc Fords is the restaurant of choice tonight.

(Sunday, March 20, 2022). After breakfast and before leaving South Seas we took one more ride on the trolley to visit the nearby shops.  We were able to purchase more Captiva Island items.  Now it’s time to get moving on the water and go back to Ft. Myers at Legacy Harbour Marina.

We walked from the marina to downtown and had an awesome dinner at Izzy’s.

(Monday, March 21, 2022). We walked to a perfect little jewel that I found to eat breakfast before our guests had to leave. First Watch did not disappoint us as we enjoyed our farm to table meal.

All wonderful trips must come to an end, but we will ALWAYS remember the company that we were with, the beautiful surroundings that we shared, the laughs, the personal memories and most importantly, the love of family!!!!
