Sunday, April 3, 2022 (Legacy Larbour Marina, Ft. Myers, FL) Jim and I are experiencing many emotions today.  This will be our last night on “Our Nauti Time”!!!!  This truly has been an adventure beyond anything we expected as one of our major bucket list items has been fulfilled.    Our reflections have been about the 43 lock and dams, touching 10 states, and seeing a part of our beautiful country from the water that you would never know existed.  Meeting hundreds of fellow loopers, making new friends and living up to the many challenges along the way since early October, 2021. We have never felt that we made a mistake by taking on a bigger boat and living on that boat (approximately 900 sf) for 6 months. LOL!!!! AND WE ARE STILL MARRIED………….. We have been in negotiations with potential buyers for nearly a month now and just waiting for their funding to be disbursed.  However, Jim and I need to start our travels north as we have commitments in Mid April in...

Wednesday - Saturday, March 30 - April 2, 2022 (Legacy Harbour Marina, Ft. Myers, FL) Since we returned to Florida from our New York trip, it has been a nice whine down to our stay here.  We have been blessed to spend extra time with Kim and Marty.  Dinner, lunch, laughs and best of all a great friendship!!  But yesterday, the four of us toured the Edison-Ford Winter Estates, which was something I have wanted to do ever since we arrived in Ft. Myers.   It was such an educational experience to learn about the friendship and business relationship of two great men.  As we peaked into their houses, I often wondered what it would have been like to have lived in that era.  Of course, they lived in luxury!!!!   The banyan tress on the property were huge and such an interesting living tree.
